Little Additions Blog - Spanish Loft Interiors

Some Spanish inspiration for your interiors this week! This beautiful loft was given a facelift by Interior Designer Martia Castellano in Barcelona. The traditional herringbone timber floors, exposed brick and high ceilings have been white washed to create a cohesive space amongst the varied surfaces. We love how it creates that light, breezy, coastal feeling.

The industrial feel is softened with natural fibres and fabrics creating a colour palette of grey, white and natural.

We love the open plan space with the sunroom leading out from the living and dining area. The exposed brick left red in the sunroom creating warmth.

As lovers of fine linen, the upholstery, bedlinen and cushions are all made out of gorgeous shades of natural linens, giving that lovely relaxed look.

Interesting lights made out of baskets and hanging fabric create interest in the different areas. Rough wooden tables throughout work well with the rough surfaces on the walls and ceiling.
